They have all successfully utilised the power of weight loss hypnosis as part of their strategy to lose weight and embed permanent healthy habit change.

What is Weight Loss Hypnosis and could this work for you?

Hypnosis is a state of highly focused attention and concentration. It is also 100% natural and normal.  You are completely in control, you will not be clucking like a chicken (unless you want to) and it actually feels rather gorgeous and relaxing.

Through hypnosis you enter a state of heightened receptivity that allows you to more easily reset and rebuild habits and behaviours along with emotions and feelings.

When used correctly it is a tremendous tool for utilising the power of the mind to make powerful changes and take control over your body, health and life.

I use hypnosis in all of my programs whether that is weight loss hypnosis, hypnosis for anxiety, hypnosis for sleep, hypnosis for stress, hypnosis for menopause and perimenopause symptoms or hypnosis for confidence and self-esteem.

Is Weight Loss Hypnosis alone, enough to succeed?

Although weight loss hypnosis is an incredible tool for change, in isolation for weight loss I do not believe it is effective.  Rather than thinking of a magic pill, (hint there isn’t one out there) instead it is an incredible and powerful add on.

I use Weight Loss Hypnosis in conjunction with nutrition training specifically tailored to the needs of ladies over 40, mindset coaching, mindset tools and brain retraining techniques.  This is when weight loss hypnosis shines!

Why do I not recommend Weight Loss Hypnosis as a stand-alone therapy?

Food is not like giving up smoking.  We cannot just give up food and avoid it altogether.  We need food, our body needs food and particularly in midlife what we eat, how we eat and when we eat has a massive impact on not only our weight loss results but also our midlife hormonal symptoms, our health and our mental health.

  • Weight loss hypnosis is great for mentally rehearing (and getting excited about) your success. Top athletes and performers use mental rehearsal all the time to boost their success and it is especially powerful when it is done whilst in hypnosis.
  • Weight loss hypnosis is great in boosting conviction, ambition and motivation so that you don’t feel like you need to make these changes but instead want to make these changes.

Weight Loss Hypnosis is a powerful tool for boosting your weight loss results but is in my opinion and experience, not a magic pill and must be used in conjunction with other interventions.
